"They feel betrayed and wronged": Tesla sued by disgruntled owners

Elon Musk's antics are tarnishing the brand's image. As sales plummet, drivers are demanding their contracts be terminated.

Tesla's image is now tarnished by the stance of Elon Musk, its (very) turbulent boss. Sales have plummeted for several months, but also anger among its fan base, and now its customer base in general.
A dozen angry French property owners are going to sue the American firm. The GKA law firm has been mandated to sue Tesla France and its American parent company, Tesla Inc., before the Paris Commercial Court. The procedure, while serious, is also bold, as it relies on Article 725 of the Civil Code, which stipulates that in the event of a sale, "the seller owes the buyer peaceful enjoyment of the property sold," state lawyers Patrick Klugman and Ivan Terel.
